Tom Hanks And Rita Wilson Are Recovering From Coronavirus, Actor Says They ‘Feel Better’
Earlier this month, Forrest Gump actor Tom Hanks and his wife Rita Wilson, who were tested positive for COVID- 19, have been advised to be in self-quarantine. However, the couple was treated in an Australian hospital where he was quarantined with his wife, but now the couple has being recovered and is back to their daily work. Amidst the coronavirus scare, the actor, as promised, used keep his fans posted about this phase by posting pictures of his daily routine.

When he was diagnosed positive, Tom shared a tweet which read, “Hello, folks. @ritawilson and I are down here in Australia. We felt a bit tired, like we had colds, and some body aches. Rita had some chills that came and went. Slight fevers too. To play things right, as is needed in the world right now, we were tested for the Coronavirus, and were found to be positive.” However, as it has been two weeks after Tom and Rita got their first symptoms, they said they are feeling better now while also mentioning how sheltering on place works during this time on his Twitter handle.

Known for a good sense of humour, his tweet read, “Hey, folks. Two weeks after our first symptoms and we feel better. Sheltering on place works like this: You don't give it to anyone – You don't get it from anyone. Common sense, no? Going to take awhile, but if we take care of each other, help where we can, and give up some comforts... this, too, shall pass. We can figure this out. Hanx”

Tom’s sister Sandra Hanks Benoiton also spoke about his condition to Daily Mail, she was quoted saying to the portal: “I have communicated with my brother. He’s not great, but still okay. [Am I] shocked? No. He’s an actor, not a god [but] medical care in Australia is good.”
